The High School Visual Arts Competition 2026 is Here!
The High School Visual Arts Competition (VAC) celebrates student artwork in four categories: 2D, 3D, Photography, and Digital Art.

Important Dates:
- Monday, 1/5 | Registration Opens
- Saturday, 2/21, 11:59 pm PST | Registration Deadline (online)
- Friday, 2/27, 4 - 6 pm | Artwork Dropoff Window at Orinda Library
- Saturday, 2/28, 10 am - 12 pm | Artwork Drop Off Window at Orinda Library
- These are the only days to drop off your artwork. If you miss this deadline, your artwork may not be included in the exhibit or considered for awards.
- Monday, 3/2 — Thursday, 4/2 | Exhibit in the Gallery at the Orinda Library
- Thursday, 3/19, 7 - 8:30 pm | Artist Reception & Award Presentation
- Friday, 4/3, 4:30 - 6:30 pm | Artwork Pickup at Orinda Library
- Saturday, 4/4, 10am - 12pm | Artwork Pickup at Orinda Library
- These are the only days to pick up your artwork. Alternative drop-off and pick-up dates can be scheduled by appointment only by emailing the Event Chair.
- Please do not take away student artwork before the official artwork pick-up time! Each returned piece needs to be recorded and signed out.
There is NO FEE to enter, however, we welcome donations of any size to support the High School Visual Arts Competition and the programs of Lamorinda Arts Council. The suggested donation amount is $25, which can be paid online or by check made payable to Lamorinda Arts Council, PO Box 121, Orinda, CA 94563. Thank you for your support!
