How to Request an Exhibit at a Lamorinda Arts Council Gallery

Artwork Eligibility.  The Art Galleries at the Orinda Library and Wilder Art & Garden Center are public spaces visited by patrons of all ages; the same is true of the virtual galleries for each location.  Artwork displayed must be appropriate for children.  No nudes are permitted.  Artwork will be approved for display at the discretion of the Lamorinda Arts Council and the City of Orinda.  If you have questions about the suitability of your content, contact the curator of the Art Gallery at the Orinda Library here, and/or the curator of the Art Gallery at Wilder here.

Artists may also wish to submit a Video Preview of their work, which will be uploaded to our YouTube channel. 2. Review the Exhibit Schedule for the gallery in which you wish to exhibit to select a suitable opening.  Links to the exhibit schedules for both galleries can be found here.  Please examine these schedules so that you can indicate your preference of available slots when you submit your request to exhibit.  There may be as long as a three year wait in some cases, so explore the schedule carefully.  When you submit your request to exhibit, the curator will let you know if your request is available.
