Struggling with a messy divorce between my parents and being the older sibling led to a lot of feelings related to the situation being overlooked. As I began to feel more and more overlooked an anger that came from a hurt and sad part of myself led me to create something to express my situation and feelings. the use of a tiger that appears to be angry shows the surface-level rage, while the colors contrast with the animal and its expression; showing inner turmoil and unheard feelings.
