Join us for the Lamorinda Arts Council’s free “Arts Embraces Words” event in the Arts & Sciences Room at the Lafayette Library and Learning Center.

Attending patrons are seated in the middle of the room surrounded by artwork. In this way the art literally “embraces the words” spoken by emerging writers who read excerpts from their work. Artwork will be videoed and uploaded to our social media sites.

Our Master of Ceremonies introduces each writer at approximately 10 minute intervals. A reception follows at 3:00 p.m. on the outdoor patio where light refreshments will be served so that writers, artists and all who attend can enjoy each other’s company.
