Saturday, July 12th, 2:00-3:30 PM | The Benicia Six
Lafayette Library & Learning Center Arts & Science Room
3491 Mt. Diablo Blvd., Lafayette, CA
Lovers of the spoken word and art are invited to join us in the Lafayette Library & Learning Center. This event will feature six writers from Benicia – Deborah Fruchey, Marty Malin, Karen Mercury, Gregory Montoya, Aletheia Morden and Jim White – with visual artists Michelle Naylor-Cho and Jamie Harrison. This event is free and open to all! There will be a courtyard reception following the program, featuring complimentary pours of red wine from local winery Captain Vineyards. Please note that the free Library parking lot closes at 5:00 pm.
Saturday, October 25th, 2:00-3:30 PM | Halloween Theme and Costume Contest
A media table is provided for authors and artists, as well as information of interest to the literary and artistic community. Book sales are encouraged.
Local writers Teresa Caldwell, Ruth Tindugan and Damneet Kaur read their work honoring every kind of mother at Lamorinda Art Council's May 10th Art Embraces Words program. Local photographer Craig Isaacs exhibited and spoke about his photography.
