Lovers of the spoken word and art are invited to join us at the Lafayette Library & Learning Center Arts & Science Room. This free program is open to all!

Each writer and artist is introduced by co-chair Linda Hartmann who also fields a short Q&A.

After the poetry and art presentations, please join us in the Courtyard for a Reception from 3:30 - 5:00 pm. Please note that the free Library parking lot closes at 5:00 pm.

  • Saturday, October 26th | Halloween Costume Event with Prizes

You're invited to show up as your favorite literary or artistic character at this free program in the Lafayette Library. Emerging writers read from their work surrounded by artwork from local artists. In this way, art literally “embraces” the spoken word.

A media table is provided for authors and artists and information of interest to the literary and artistic community. Book sales are encouraged!
