Sadie Martin – Crow Bones

This drawing was done entirely with white colored pencil against black paper. The most important aspect was the areas of light and dark because they’re what made the bones look more realistic. The pose of the crow was almost like that of a person posing for a portrait, which makes it a little bit more eerie. Crows and ravens are my favorite animal because of how smart and mysterious they are, so I had a lot of fun creating that image of them in this piece.
