I took this photo on the 6th floor of the Everline Hotel in Tahoe. When this photo was taken there were ambulances and fire trucks at the bottom of the mountain as someone got injured and was being skied down. In the commotion I caught this beautiful moment of a brother and his little sister walking and laughing in the snow. One of the firefighters even gave the little girl a plastic fire hat as he got out of the truck. I took the photo to remember that the comfort of family and kindness can be felt even in the most chaotic of times.
