Description
I was inspired by the video game Genshin Impact to create this piece. In the game, there are two ethereal forces – Ousia and Pneuma – that represent body and soul, respectively. I carved the earring bases out of wax, then sanded them and cast them in brass. I fit the malachite stones inside and spent weeks carefully tapping down the wings of the earrings to wrap around the stones. I then sanded them again and polished them, then attached earring fittings to make them wearable.
