In the spirit of the Chinese New Year (the year of the dragon), I created this piece portraying a dragon among clouds, symbolizing good fortune and strength. While the holiday may not be as prominent in Western culture, it’s a time of great importance in Asia. Through my art, I aim to modestly contribute to the wider appreciation of this rich cultural celebration, hoping to inspire a deeper interest in the traditions that are cherished by millions yet unfamiliar to some.
