Sculpted ceramic hand gripping a pot that is shaped and carved to look like the earth. Entirely made from clay. Representative of the myth of Atlas, it has been altered to take into account the pressures inflicted on a person in the world. The position of the hand was chosen to show the pot nearly slipping from their fingers, showcasing the effort required to maintain a hold on the pot.
