Sierra Jones – Girl in Field

For this piece, I used watercolor in order to make an image of a girl reading in a grassy field. I chose to create this piece because I wanted to show my belief in the power of reconnecting with nature. In addition, I chose to create a piece that had an aspect of serenity and tranquility to make the viewer stop and think about the peace I intended this artwork to bring. I hope to have whoever sees this remember when the last time they had truly spent time with nature and to reconnect with it.
