Description
In their intended use, tights obscure the subject. By photographing tights, isolated from a human, I make them the subject. This is part of a series in which I examine how appearances and images can overshadow subjectivity. To create these images, I wove tights together, photographed the fabrics on a light table, and edited the images in Photoshop.
