Description
I used the pottery wheel to create a vase out of clay and made it in two parts before joining them together. I then cut out an organic hole in the side to mimic a crack and placed a snake curving throughout it. I used a custom-made tool to imprint the scale pattern on the snake. Once the piece was fired, I hand-painted the snake pattern on the vase using glaze.
