I wanted to explore the idea of beauty and the ways I view beauty through cultures, history, and media. For this piece, I explored the word of 花样年华（fleeting beauty, youth, and love). The three figures in the middle in traditional attire symbolize these ideals, while everything fades away through clouds, incense mists, and streams symbolizes the momentary aspects of these ideals. Combining traditional patterns through inspiration from clothing, traditional art, and colors. The piece resides in a surrealist atmosphere with vibrant colors.
