I took this photo with my Canon EOS 7D on the way home from a busy day at the beach with my friends. I was feeling melancholy, as I always do when a good day ends, and I snapped this picture. One of my favorite things to do with inanimate objects is trying to convey an emotional narrative, and in this photo, I wanted to show feeling alone despite others being near.
