Jude Marietta – Untitled

I made this in my spare time using black pen on graph paper. Each quarter of the piece was made using a different technique, but each contains a pattern based on circles and alternating black and white in different sections. It’s designed to go from least complex to most complex, from the bottom left clockwise. On the left, I divided the paper into sections and then alternated black and white, switching inside the circles. On the left, I made lots of concentric circles and divided the paper up and did the same thing, switching colors between grid squares and also in each circle.
