Description

Sippies is a thin-walled small ceramic bowl. It was designed specifically to look like an “average miso soup bowl” with its small form factor and thin rim, making it easy to sip from. There are 3 different glazes on the piece, allowing for varied texture and sheen on the entire piece. One subtle example of this is the ring on the inside of the bowl which is visible because of its more matte finish. The thick glaze on the bottom outside of the bowl was chosen because of its similar color to that of dried soy sauce.
