Description
First I waited until evening, when the light was softer. Then I set a plant in the window seal and made sure the light was shining on it. I set up my tripod so there would be no camera shake and aimed it towards the leaf. I wanted to capture most of the leaf, but leave light in the background to create an effect from negative to positive lighting. I had to take many different shots to make sure it was in focus and at the proper angle. Once I got the shot I went into Photoshop and cropped the image so the lines of the leaf would flow into the corners. I also slightly edited the color.
