Eliani Kim – Disconnected

This piece is the introductory artwork for my AP Art Portfolio. My sustained investigation poses the question: “What are different ways I feel disconnected from certain aspects of my life?” This specific piece serves as a literal disconnection to my life rather than a figurative or emotional one, displaying myself literally unplugged from the power outlet. Furthermore, this piece renders my disconnection from literal and figurative interpretations.
