Light Painting Portraits (Left & Right Images)
These portraits capture fragmented identity through long exposure and dynamic light painting. I used a fiber optic night lamp to "draw" the patterns onto my subjects. The interplay of movement and illumination creates a spectral presence as if the subject is dissolving into the surrounding darkness. The swirling light trails blur the line between body and void, evoking themes of impermanence, duality, and self-disintegration.
Entrapment (Middle Image)
A single hand presses against a fogged surface, reaching out from an obscured space. The muted tones and soft focus create a sense of distance as if the subject is trapped between worlds—unseen, unheard, yet desperate to connect. The composition conveys isolation and fading existence, reinforcing the idea of dissolving within one’s own reality.
