Description
My name is Michael and I am 17 years old. I have been doing pottery for 2 years. For my pieces, I made a series of dishware that is simple but has clean designs. Initially, I wanted to make a handbuilt piece, so I spent a week crafting a depiction of the myth of Sisyphus, which sadly broke. So, I went to the wheel and threw what I could, and chose to glaze it black because I like simplicity. Since I didn’t have much time to brainstorm a creative pattern or meaning behind the piece, I ended up just turning my brain off and drawing lines with white glaze.
