Description
This piece is based on a photo I took of my dad when he was bored, and I explored what I thought was going on inside of his head. The main design concept of the piece is the juxtaposition between the color and realism of the acrylic portrait and the black and white doodles in the background that mimic the cartoons in a children’s story. The daydreams are very detached from reality, but still interact with the subject, showing that he is in their world at the moment.
