Description
This piece was inspired by my interest in alternative fashion, as well as the theme of my AP art portfolio this year: How can overused tropes/stereotypes in media be changed? My work meant to put a spin on the overused image of a blond generic homecoming/prom queen and add elements of gothic fashion. I have always been personally drawn to people with a unique sense of style, and I believe that creative personal expression makes people much more approachable, even if it goes against the status quo of how someone is “supposed” to dress. This piece was drawn entirely on procreate, with a few thumbnail sketches to map out the composition on paper.
