Description
The earth was once covered in luscious green hills, crystal clear lakes, and forests home to all forms of wildlife. Bees made hives in flower-filled meadows. Birds built their nests in trees. Then, came humanity’s turn. First came straw huts to keep out the cold, which slowly progressed to towns and villages. Kingdoms rose and fell, all living alongside the animals of the world. Humanity's ambition knew no bounds. Factories were built to produce anything the humans wanted, and power plants soon came to keep their cities alight. They turned a world of grass and mud into one of steel and concrete, building giant glass towers that rose as far as the eye could see. Concrete roads cut through all terrain, and cars were manufactured, replacing the need for horses. Humans spread to every continent, creating more and more buildings for an ever-expanding population. And with that, the world was transformed.
