Description
For this project in my art class, we started by making the object out of wax using our hands. After that, we made a mold out of plaster. Next, we put the metal inside the mold to create the metal object. Finally, we sanded and buffed the object until it was shiny. My piece lost its shine over time. We used brass. I decided to make a bicycle because I thought it would be cool since I like to ride my bike. It was inspired by the “Pinarello Bolide” track bike that Filippo Ganna used to break the hour record for track cycling.
