Orinda Library Online Gallery | SEP 2026
ARTIST STATEMENT: The images exhibited are pages from the handmade book Vital Signs. They were created while a loved one was recuperating from a serious illness. I took photographs in pediatric hospital waiting rooms and doctor’s offices and used these photographs as backdrops to create imaginary scenarios where living, but not human, subjects were being treated for their “medical” problems.
Thank you for visiting the Online Gallery for Art Gallery at the Orinda Library. Lamorinda Arts Council receives a 25% commission as a donation on the pre-tax price set by Seller.
Buyers will receive a confirmation receipt via email reflecting their online purchase and Seller will receive a copy of the email. Transfer of ownership is to be arranged between Buyer and Seller on or after takedown in the Art Gallery at the Orinda Library or another mutually convenient time and place.
