Description
The inspiration comes from my daily meditation practice, which has cleansing power for me. While sometimes I’m overwhelmed with all sorts of emotions and negativities, during the sitting period, it feels like spring water washing over my inner self.
This sculpture of the hollow woman in a meditative pose is made of ceramic, with a cascading flow of water and a base made of aluminum. This combination represents the wisdom and tranquility that lie within our bodies. As the water emerges and falls, it symbolizes the cleansing of our bodies and souls, reflecting the purity and renewal that comes from inner enlightenment.
