Lamorinda Arts Council will be temporarily pausing new grant applications as we embark on a thoughtful restructuring of our budget and programs. This decision wasn't made lightly, and our goal is to enhance our ability to support the arts in Lamorinda for years to come.
For a number of years, it's been a privilege to offer modest grants—up to $800 each—through our Education Grants, Community Project Grants, and Individual Artist Grants. These awards, though limited in size, have been our way of encouraging and assisting local educators, artists, and art programs in need of funds. We've been consistently inspired by the creativity and dedication within our community, and we are immensely grateful for the impactful projects and artistic endeavors you've brought to life.
We understand that these grants have been a valuable resource, and we're committed to reimagining how we can best support you. We will be sharing updates on our progress and the future of our grant programs as soon as we have more information.
