Because the title of the wood sculpture “Tesoro Marino” Spanish, I decided to invite the reader to experience the same poem in a play back and forth between Spanish and English.

Though the intent of the artist is unknown to this writer, I can only hope that my response in some way, at least, honors the title the artist gave this piece.
