I created this drawing of a boy named Spoon Man using Ibis Paint X. In the piece, he is holding a spoon in his right hand and motions his hand on top of his head like a crown, which shows his high rank in society. The spoon symbolizes good luck in his culture. Without a spoon, one cannot eat food in a proper manner, and so it represents the nourishment and the food that keeps him alive. It also explains how he is at the top of a hierarchal ranking because of the plenty of food he can eat with his spoon. This piece took me approximately 6 hours to do on my computer.
