Description
Over the summer, I went to a concert with a friend. I brought my digital camera to the concert, and the drawing refers to a photo I took there. The original photo showed the entire stage and the musicians, but I cropped them out to focus mainly on their instruments. I wanted to hone in on these objects that make the music so enjoyable. I wanted to use graphite because I’ve become very comfortable using it and learned I am pretty good with it. I sketched out the basic idea for the piece, but then I decided to fully complete it for my art class.
