Description
I experimented with this artwork by only using colored pencils – a medium I have never used on its own before. I chose to use colored pencils because that material is very common for children to use. And as my piece connected with childhood, I thought it would be a nice addition to have the material I used be an art material that is associated with childhood. Additionally, I wanted my piece to be very colorful because life when I was younger was much more vibrant. So, by using pencils, I was able to achieve the bold, vibrant colors that I wanted, along with a material that is commonly used among children.
