Description
This artwork was created as an acrylic portrait project in art class. I was really interested in creating a piece that conveyed both a sense of serenity and a playful, cheery mood, leading me to explore what combination of techniques could help me do so. Painting a rather calm facial expression while keeping various bright colors helped me illustrate that concept. I also made sure that the range of colors used included both warm and cool hues, further portraying the idea of a combination of soothing and upbeat moods.
