Description
This piece combines both pencil drawing and collage of various cutouts from pictures that I found online and pictures that I took on my phone. I first started by drawing a self-portrait of my face, then cut it out and glued it onto a larger piece of paper. Afterward, I collaged images of my interests around my portrait to serve as a lively background. This piece is meant to be a representation of my interests and who I am as a person despite having what most would call a generic appearance. I attempted to emulate this by coloring my portrait in a monochrome colorway while the rest of my piece is filled with many different types of color.
