Created using Photoshop, made several layers to paint the unique colors of the skin tone. The subject of my piece is a young girl from Cameroon named Solace. The portrait serves as a positive message to her and other youth that regardless of difficult life circumstances, race, or culture they can see a positive image of themselves.
