The Lamorinda Arts Alliance exhibit “The Natural World” at the Lindsay Dirkx Brown Gallery in San Ramon, offers viewers a magnificent sense of the natural world around us. In our fast paced, digital times, it is easy to forget how the natural world is a huge part of our lives – from the earth we stand on, to the mountains, oceans, rivers, plants and animals around us – and to the sun, moon and stars above us. Viewing the exhibit is a great opportunity to become more conscious of our connection to nature and to the world around us.
Please come meet the artists at our reception on Saturday, September 11th at 4pm -6pm.
The exhibit was curated by Ruth Stanton, LAA artist and board member. It will include paintings, mixed media, printmaking, and ceramics by local artists.
Come view the intricate solar plate etchings of our featured artist, San Ramon resident Linda Yoshizawa. Linda also exhibits her artwork at the Valley Art Gallery in Walnut Creek and has artwork in several corporate collections including Kaiser Permanente and El Camino Hospital.
The Lindsay Dirkx Brown Gallery is located at, 12501 Alcosta Blvd in San Ramon. The Gallery is open Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5pm, Fridays and on weekends during special events.
